STAGE 1: 

BRANDING 

In this stage it was about creating the basis of the project, a brand that will stand out. The inspiration for this element was Paul Rand which led to me studying him further. I started to produce several images from the dark room. Using a speaker filled with developer, I played music through and recored the splatters on paper. Then I created lots of development pages, experimenting with different sizes, shapes, colours and typefaces to see which logo looked best. Once I narrowed it down to just a few, I made some mock-ups in order to see what they would look like in different situations for example, a billboard or business card. Therefore I can decide on the final logo.
